Ava Faith

Ava Faith is a 22-year-old singer, songwriter, musician, and performer from South Florida, now based in New Orleans. She has developed a distinct voice shaped by over a decade of dedicated singing and live performance experience. At just five years old, she decided she was going to be a professional singer, and she has been relentlessly pursuing that path ever since.

Her earliest performance experiences came through musical theater camps, choir, singing competitions, and fundraising events. At nine, she began training with a professional vocal coach, landing lead roles in musical theater productions and performing the national anthem at various sporting events.

At 12, she was invited to sit in on a Jazz Jam, an experience that opened her eyes to an entirely new genre. Local musicians were impressed with her vocal ability and stage presence and began mentoring her in improvisation and performing with a live band. She was soon invited back as a featured artist. With jazz performance experience under her belt, she went on to win competitions and perform at a growing number of venues, refining her skills in vocals, piano, and guitar.

As she began writing her own music, Ava faced a choice: continue down the path as a jazz vocalist or carve out her own artistic direction. She chose to forge her own sound, diving deeper into songwriting and production while collaborating with recording studios and accomplished musicians to shape a style that reflects her range of influences.

In 2023, Ava joined the New Orleans funk fusion band Uncle Jessica, performing on Frenchmen Street and at the first annual Funk Fest in New Orleans. The project marked an exciting and formative chapter in her musical journey and further strengthened her presence in the local live music scene.

Today, Ava is focused on recording and releasing original music while continuing to grow as both a performer and songwriter. Her sound is an eclectic blend of pop, rock, and alternative influences, layered with the depth and musicality of her jazz roots. At the heart of everything she creates is a simple goal: to make people happy and help them feel something real through music.
